With Canadian Thanksgiving 2012 coming to a close my kids are quickly starting to turn their conversations to Halloween. Not only are they talking about what they want to dress-up as this year for trick-or-treating, but they are also talking about the cool movies and television specials that I should be recording on the PVR.
Thankfully Disney’s line-up does not disappoint – especially their “Monstober” themed line-up all month on Family Channel.
So ladies and gentlemen, whether you’re using a PVR, DVR or an old-fashioned VCR, it’s time to fire-up your recording devices and stockpile some fantastic Halloween family favourites.
Here’s what the Mommy Moments family will be watching on family fun nights this October:
- Friday, October 12 (Family Channel): Girl vs. Monster at 8pm ET/PT about Skylar Lewis, a fearless teenager who discovers that her family comes from a long line of monster hunters!
- Sunday, October 14 (Disney Junior): At 10:00am ET catch the newest episode of Doc McStuffins called Boo Hoo to You/It’s Glow Time.
- Friday, October 19 (Family Channel): Starting at 5:30pm ET/PT catch brand new Halloween-themed episodes of Good Luck Charlie, Really Me and Jessie.
- Sunday, October 21 (Disney Junior): At 9:30am ET Handy Manny takes the tools trick-or-treating!
- Sunday, October 28 (Disney XD): Beginning at 4pm ET catch the special Monster Mayhem event featuring all Halloween-themed episodes and movies.
- Wednesday, October 31 (Disney XD): Starting at 6am catch an all-day Halloween-themed marathon with all your favourite spooky episodes.
